Pear Cobbler

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Place the butter in a 9 x 6 baking dish and melt the butter. In a separate bowl combine the sugar and flour, then slowly stir in the milk and mix well. Pour the batter over the melted butter (Do Not Stir).

Cut the pears in half and place them on top of the batter; gently pour the syrup from the pears over the cobbler. (Do Not Stir).

Bake the cobbler for 30 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Serve with vanilla ice cream on top.
